This sounds like a theme in MIDI format out of any old gba game, and thats pretty good. I dont know if thats what you were trying to capture of not but it does sound like that. Oh and I think this would be better off as a loup aswell.

If you haven't yet, you should realize by now that a high amount of the people who liked song suggested it without lyrics. Im sure making a intrumental piece would be appreciated by many.
